Tilton, New Hampshire, USA – September 2017 — Sealite is expanding its Spar buoy line and introducing a new Float Collar buoy, specifically for the inland waterway market. The new buoys, which include can, nun and float collar styles, use the same manufacturing process as Sealite’s larger ocean buoys, combining outstanding strength and durability synonymous with Sealite buoys worldwide. The new line of buoys can be configured as Regulatory, Channel, or Special marks for harbors, rivers and lakes.
Sealite’s new range of Spar buoys are high quality, affordable buoys and come available in 9 varying diameter and height configurations to suit any application. All buoys are constructed for easy deployment and maintenance. The buoys come completely foam filled for added strength and buoyancy and are virtually unsinkable in the unlikely event of damage.
The new SL-B1428 Float Collar buoy is designed for marking high traffic areas where fast currents or choppy conditions exist. The SL-B1428 Float Collar buoy features a wide, ultra-stable base with optional anchor points to support different types of mooring solutions including fast and shallow water applications. With the ability to connect to Sealite’s barrier floats, the Float Collar buoy provides the perfect solution for an integrated hazard marking application for dams or other critical infrastructure.
The new range of Sealite inland water buoys are rotationally-molded from UV stabilized polyethylene in Sealite’s USA factory. A comprehensive, custom line of vinyl graphics, wraps and mold-in graphics are also available. For increased night-time visibility, Sealite’s range of solar marine lanterns can be fitted to the new range of buoys, for a complete marking solution.
