SealitePro™ App now available on Apple iOS and Android

Somerville, Victoria, Australia – June 2017 — Sealite is pleased to announce the SealitePro™ app is now available on both Android and iOS platforms.

The SealitePro™ mobile application enables Bluetooth® control of the recently released SL-75 self-contained 3-5NM Solar Marine Lantern. Users can read and program the lantern from their mobile phone or tablet up to 50 metres away, via the easy to use interface.

The advanced built-in intelligence of the SealitePro™ app can revolutionize the way you program and maintain the lantern. Maintenance tasks are easier and quicker than ever before as many tasks can be performed via a phone or tablet, from the safety of the vessel. The app increases productivity, saves money and reduces the risk of injury to maintenance personnel as it removes the need to climb structures to check the operation of the lantern.

With the touch of a button, a host of advanced features are available on the SealitePro™ app including; the ability to provide a unique lantern name, setting of a security PIN, custom flash character, intensity calculation and hibernation mode. Once configured, the user can then verify the lantern’s optimal performance from a specific location, via the exclusive in-built Sealite Solar Calculator. The new and improved Sealite Solar Calculator will determine the average sunlight hours for the given location (autonomy) and the power requirements based on the flash code, in an easy to read graph format.
